Fixed a graphical glitch in the Session- / Arrangement View amoeba after
toggling views (mixer, crossfader, etc.).
Fixed a problem with the Windows installer which could lead to an incomplete
installation on some computers. Symptom: The Live application would not launch
at all and an error message "The application has failed to start due to a side-
by-side configuration error" would be shown instead.
Under certain conditions, the playback position in audio clips was incorrect
after changing clip start markers in unwarped clips and then re-enabling 'warp'.
Fixed a bug which prevented some VST plugins stored in the OS X system
library folder to show up in Live's browser.

INSTALLATION:
ΓÇó Next unrar files.
If you can't open it you need to get an archiver which supports
rar files such as Winrar.
ΓÇó Click on extract and then run the setup to install.
ΓÇó Go to crack folder and copy the crack to the installation dir by default*
c/program files/Ableton/program paste replacing the original.
*Note - At the beguining of the installation, if the instaler gives the
installation folder in C/program files/common files i recomend that you change
to c/program files/
ΓÇó Now click on the Authorizelive8 file.

i follow the instructions... but when i tried to use ableton 8.4b 64 bit, the autorizelive opens ableton 8.3.4 32 bit!
or in same case it opens ableton 8.4 but it doesn't recognize the authorizelive as valid.

I have a problem as soon as I unrar, I use winrar and everything but when I try to open the .exe it comes up with an error message 'A serious program error has occured. Live will close when this meesage box is closed' or something along those lines. I have a high operating Window 7 x64bit.

your torrent sucks dick for these reasons:
1. the x64 versions are not cracked (patcher only works on x86)
2. easier to d/l the suite from official site and apply generic patcher
3. youre also lame cause no credits to rrtn...fags like you include nfos with only your bullshit web or whatever in them and remove proper credits

So, this is a clusterfuck and the instructions are written by an idiot.

So, I've redone it again for the 5th time and after double clicking the .auz, it only authorized the 32-bit version. Upon launching the beta, it says it isn't authorized.

thanks, i downloaded it and worked just fine the first days... after about 3 days the midi tracks were just randomly recieving no input at all.. i could see the flashing signal of the pc recieving it, but misteriously the track didnd recieved anything or output anything... i tried everything and the problem just got worse

For those of you still waiting for Live 8.4b8 x64, forget it, that version was scraped from the 8 dev tree and promoted in the Live 9 dev tree. That codebase will be the first Live 9 version (which is already out)

I have problem with the Authorizelive8.auz file.
My computer says that it can't be launched because of problem on sxstrace.exe (something like that). I cant do anything. I searched the web for that and they all download a fixer and it will be ok but the fixer nedd money to work. Can you help?

So when I clicked the authorization file it said it wasn't valid, but then proceeded to download all of the suite content anyway. Is that supposed to happen? If not what the heck did I do? xD

Forget about the included beta 8.4, because IS NOT POSSIBLE TO AUTORIZE. All you will have is the naked update without the autorization, update that is avalaible also in the ableton official website. A crack for the beta is also included in the torrent, but is not working.
And don't get confused about the 64 or 32 bits. This version works on Windows 7 or 8 64 bits, but this doesn't mean that it would USE the 64 bits.
The best option is to wait to Ableton Live 9, wich will be out luckily the first quarter of 2013.

Ok shit, I'm not sure I did anything worth mentioning, but hey, at least it might help someone. So the authorizelive8 file was a fucking .auz, couldn't open that with shit, all it said was for me to use a program to open it with. So after messing around for about 20 minutes, I thought :" Hey, why not go full retard and just drag the authorizelive8 file to the cracked Ableton Live 8 .exe ?" So that's what I did, and the shit got authorized. Might be worth trying, also I might just be very retarded.
simonXR, I'm afraid you authorize the 8.3 32bits version, not the 8.4. Please, check it and you will see what I mean.
Thanks biglelic! I just wanted to add that if someone is unable to find the ProgramData folder, please, know that it is hidden. You can also access it by going to Start, right clicking on the AbletonLive icon in All Programs and selecting Open File Location. The folder will open and you can paste the Crack files.

Wait, i got it. I didnt replace the "Ableton Live 8" application in the program folder with the one in the Crack folder for some reason. -_- Once I replaced it i clicked the Authorization and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the instructions guys.

First of all, I made an account (finally) to say THANK YOU TO DEEPSTATUS FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL TORRENTS! I've downloaded tons of your stuff the past couple weeks. This works 95%...The only problem? playing music! Every time I add a VST plug in from the plug ins menu to a new track, and press a note on my MIDI keyboard...nothing happens? OR...It will play one note and then continuously hold that note until I delete the track. Doesn't let me play more notes. Does anyone else have this problem, or even better...the solution? Thanks!

all the projects (.als) saved with this version get corrupted, i'm unable to open them on other versions of Ableton (earlier or not). Any one else tried to open projects saved with this on other versions? this is some serious problem, all your work may go to hell later or you get stuck forever with this version.

Hey! why are you claiming people?... that's really nice that you've added 64bit Beta installer even if the *.exe you supported is the same like for the x86 version... so all the people that overwrited the original exe have just another one x86 Live app...

Sorry solved my own problem.. google search revealed I needed an upgrade to visual c++ runtime bladeebla now im authorized and running
The authorization just died for this! A new one would be a lifesaver right now...

Same here. Ableton 9 will be released on March 5th, hopefully we'll get that one fast and authorized.
I created an account just to share this: turn off automatic updates. The auto updates were implemented with v8.3+ and they're the reason why the authentication keeps becoming undone.
After you've clicked the auz file (and after Live 8 downloads all the extra files and kits in the initial setup), turn off the auto updates or better yet--turn off your wifi/internet connection immediately, then go under options->preferences->licenses maintenance-> and toggle off "get software updates" and "send usage data". You may have to uninstall and run the installation again if you didn't get it in time.
The good news is, the authorization will still work and those extra files and kits won't need to be installed during the second installation--just remember to turn off your cpu's wifi after the "authorization is successful" popup and turn off the auto updates and send user data under Options. Restart Live to make sure.
Of course, you can turn your PC's internet connection back on once you know Live is still authorized after a restart. Mine is still working after the download (thanks for the app, deepstatus!). I hope this helps.
After you've clicked the auz file (and after Live 8 downloads all the extra files and kits in the initial setup), turn off the auto updates or better yet--turn off your wifi/internet connection immediately, then go under options->preferences->licenses maintenance-> and toggle off "get software updates" and "send usage data". You may have to uninstall and run the installation again if you didn't get it in time.
The good news is, the authorization will still work and those extra files and kits won't need to be installed during the second installation--just remember to turn off your cpu's wifi after the "authorization is successful" popup and turn off the auto updates and send user data under Options. Restart Live to make sure.

Hey man, GREAT torrent! I've just ran into a bit of a snag: I was running this on Windows 8 x32 just fine, but I tried installing this in Windows 7 x64 and I'm getting the 'side-by-side' error of which you supposedly fixed. Thanks for the help in advance.
